Performance:  Sonics:
Here we have a complete Mendlessohn concert with an opening overture, followed by a concerto, and after a short intermission, a symphony. I think it would be nice to have more discs like this!
The violin concerto is familiar to all, and well played here. The symphony is nicely done, especially if one enjoys the slightly smaller sound of the smaller orchestra. All in all a very nice program to listen to.
